Life is happening today, will happen tomorrow, and will happen again next year. We are living in this world doing work and getting results. We can Always expect a result as a return of the efforts that we put into that work. However, life is more complex than getting what we expect. We face unexpected results every day, of things that we did not plan for, it happens.

One sunny beautiful day, I was about to have coffee and was planning my day with the family when suddenly, something urgent got out of the blue and canceled the whole plan. Just like that, we should always expect the unexpected.

This kind of thinking can be pessimistic, but this is the reality of life. We have to be optimists, but at the same time be aware of the unexpected actions from others at home, work, malls, airports, restaurants, coffee shops, and so on. People are emotional human beings. They have bad days, and some can’t sustain the pressure and let all the anger out, which can negatively affect the people around them.

Bad behavior can lead to bad actions. People make mistakes when they don’t think rationally. As a result, most will regret their actions. The unfortunate truth is that when people choose to make bad decisions, they affect themselves and the people around them.

Being kind has nothing to do with the way people act when they are not thinking straight. The one action, word, behavior, and emotion that they reflect on others would eventually be a negative vibe whether we like it or not.

How Can We Deal With It?

Dealing with people we know is different than with those we don’t. People we know are relatives, friends, family, co-workers, and others. The people we know are more likely the people we feel comfortable around. We can deal with them more flexibly than with those who we don’t know. We can understand where they are coming from and what we expect if they have a bad day.

Let’s say, on your birthday, you wake up and are hoping to have a lovely day with your family. You wanted to have that perfect cup of coffee. You are in the mood for a good day ahead. Then you get a phone call, a text, or an email. You expect that someone is celebrating your birthday, or maybe it’s someone who wants to surprise you on your birthday. The fact that shocks you is that this day you get bad news. What are the odds of something like that happening? It happens. Life happens. Life doesn’t care about your birthday, your wedding, or your anniversary. You get bad news all the time, and people can treat you in a bad way; you might get a speeding ticket on that day, you might fall while you are walking and hurt your knees. I’m not trying to tell you that life is unfair. The opposite, what I’m telling you is, be prepared.

People are emotional beings. We care, we love, hate, enjoy, respect, regret, and have emotions every day and every moment of our life. Life can be hard, but if you can understand the boundaries you draw for yourself to be happy, you can live in peace.

Understand before you act. Always try to get the full story behind what you are suspecting. Don’t ask around. Go to the source and get a clear understanding of the problem you are facing. Life is short of waiting for people’s judgments and perceptions.

I believe that a lot of issues are misunderstandings. We always tend to misunderstand people because of our perspectives. What is right for me might be wrong for others. People are different, and we have to understand that we can’t fix everyone, but we can live with them.

Live Life, Don’t Live Dreams.

This can be pessimistic for some people, but we must understand that we can not please others. Live life as you enjoy but respect others, live life as you wish but behave well with others. You have the right to be free of whatever you believe, but don’t go around pointing fingers at people.

The perfect world would have no issues or problems, and this is not our real life. Stop dreaming, start living.
